Piet Vogel Rigsolutions PTFE Coated Hooks

PTFE (PolyTetraFluoroEthylene) hooks (most of the time called Teflon coated) have become very popular the last few years and that is not for nothing. Personally I use already many years hooks provided with PTFE coating and it brought me a lot of success. Reason for me to add these hooks in the Piet Vogel Rigsolutions range. PTFE carphooks are reliable and hardly reflect light. And above of that these razorsharp hooks penetrate more easily than conventional hooks through the extreme smooth coating. Our range will start with 4 popular models but will soon be expanded with a real Chod-hook (hook with a short shank and a slightly backwards bent hookeye). This hook will become available in two models one with a claw-point and one with a straight point.

CC-1_Hook_Coated_Claw_Hook CC-1 Hook

Clawhook model, well suitable to play the carp in the neighbourhood of obstacles. The short shank and the direction to the inner gives the hook a great support-effect even during the toughest play. This hook is also very useful on waters where carp have extreme soft mouths. We advise you to provide this hookmodel always of a decent, as minor as possible, Line Aligner to optimize the turning effect.

CSS-2_Hook_Coated_Super_Strong_Hook

CSS-2 Hook

Extra strong produced model with a slightly longer hookshank and a dead straight point. This type of hook is suitable for many circumstances but outshines during the heavier job. Also on this model adding a minuscule Line Aligner (hookextension and aiming the line to the hookpoint) optimizes the turning effect extremely.

CLS-3_Hook_Coated_Long_Shank_Hook CLS-3 Hook

Semi-longshank model with a slightly to the centre aimed hook eye and a long straight point. This type is at his best on heavy fished waters. The long shank and the to the center aimed hookeye gives this pattern an aggressive character. On heavily fished waters you mostly get only 1 chance so that has to be right. The rig should never be longer than 15 cm. Because when it is too long the aggressive turning hook will catch meat at the back of the mouth where his soft palate is. In that case during the play the hook will cut upfront like a can opener. This is a fantastic hookmodel but with a little instructions for use.

CE-4_Hook_Coated_Anti_Eject_Hook

CE-4 Hook

Anti Eject model, a real allrounder, despite his clawish shape Through this shape the hook will penetrate deeply into the mouth during playing. The big advantage in opposite of a traditional clawmodel is that the straight point will catch meat sooner.
